These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Prata Lang app ("Prata Lang"), operated by Yeh Chul Shin. By downloading or using Prata Lang, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Questions? Email hello@pratalang.com.
You sign in with your email and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity under your account. You must be old enough to consent to these Terms in your country.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Prata Lang for your own language learning. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or use the content to train other software, except as allowed by law.
Prata Lang uses AI to generate voices, conversations and some written content. This material is for language-learning practice only, is provided "as is", and may contain mistakes or inaccuracies. It is not professional, legal, medical, or other expert advice. Do not rely on it as a substitute for a qualified human.
Use Prata Lang lawfully. Do not misuse the conversation features to harass, generate harmful or illegal content, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
Prata Lang and its lessons, audio, text, characters and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
Prata Lang is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using Prata Lang at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves; we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer law gives you stronger rights.
